Этнические украшения народа Нага, Индия

НАГА (самоназвание — «горец», или по названию тотема — змеи нага), группа народов на северо-востоке Индии, основное население штата Нагаленд.

Предки нага появились на современной территории в середине 1-го тысячелетия до нашей эры, к XIII веку заняли те земли, где живут сейчас.

Традиционная одежда — накидки и домотканые одеяла, мужские набедренные повязки, женские несшитые юбки до колен. Традиционная расцветка — полосатая, цвета различаются у различных групп. Своеобразен церемониальный костюм воинов — украшенный ракушками и пучками волос нагрудный панцирь, пышная диадема из птичьих перьев, большой щит из звериной кожи.

Нага хорошо известны благодаря своим этническим украшениям. Они на фотографиях ниже.
